The London Marathon is an iconic annual event held in London, drawing an estimated 750,000 spectators in person and 4-5 million viewers globally via television broadcasts.
A cornerstone of the event is its significant charity fundraising component. Since its inception, participants have raised over £1 billion for various causes, including an impressive £67 million during the 2024 London Marathon, setting a record for single-day fundraising events.
Since 2006, the elite race has been part of the prestigious World Marathon Majors, a series that highlights seven of the world’s top-tier marathon races.
Families Thriving Together is a small charity that relies entirely on donations, sponsorships and grants. The London marathon represents a transformative opportunity for us. In the years ahead, we aim to raise critical funds to support our work.
We have 4 runners taking part from April 2026 until at least 2029. We want you onboard to take part alongside us through sponsorship and incredible brand exposure.
London Marathon Sponsorship – Benefit and Branding Opportunity
Gold: £5000
- You will be the main sponsor for our entire running troupe for the year.
- Your large logo will be prominently displayed in the main, central position on the runners’ shirts.
- An interview with the charity founder and all the runners, including a photo where your logo is clearly visible, can be arranged. This would make a great social media piece.
- A group photo featuring your logo will be taken in advance of the event and during the London Marathon.
- Pre- and post-event, a selection of photos where your logo is prominently visible will be shared for your use.
- Social Media Announcement.
- The charity will announce you as the main sponsor on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- You will be invited to our annual Runners Reveal Dinner (2+2 tickets) as honorary guests.
- Your company and logo will feature on our stationery. Stationary we hand out for free during our courses.
- We will deliver a parenting half day seminar for your employees within the UK.
Silver: £2500
- You will be the silver sponsor for the year.
- Your medium logo will be prominently displayed on the sleeve.
- A group photo featuring your logo will be taken in advance of the event and during the London Marathon.
- Pre- and post-event, a selection of photos where your logo is prominently visible will be shared for your use.
- Social Media Announcement:
- The charity will announce you as the silver sponsor on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- You will be invited to our annual Runners Reveal Dinner (2 tickets).
- We will provide course material for up to 20 parents within your organisation. We can send one of our facilitators to deliver the course for a discounted fee.
Bronze: £1000
- You will be the bronze sponsor for the year.
- Your medium logo will be prominently displayed on the sleeve or elsewhere on the runners shirts.
- A group photo featuring your logo will be taken in advance of the event and during the London Marathon.
- Pre- and post-event, a selection of photos where your logo is prominently visible will be shared for your use.
- Social Media Announcement.
- The charity will announce you as the bronze sponsor on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- You will be invited to our annual Runners Reveal Dinner (2 tickets).
Event Presence:
The branded runners shirts will be used during the London Marathon and the shirts will be used in the races leading up to the marathon. Many of our runners will run multiple races in the year leading up to the London Marathon itself. We encourage them to wear the charity’s running shirts and to upload and tag your organisation on social media.
We are continuously seeking corporate sponsorship big or small to allow us to deliver more parenting courses. We are never short of participants wanting to join or authorities requesting our services. We are entirely limited by funds. We sorely wish to do more and we hope your organisation can help. Below examples of how your sponsorship can help us help others.
Impact of a £1,000 sponsorship:
Here are some examples of how the charity could utilize a £1,000 donation to benefit the community:
The charity is a small organization with limited funding. £1,000 would contribute to the marathon entry costs (£1,600 + VAT).
£1,000 could cover the training of nine facilitators on standard practices who can then deliver our courses
For example, the Talking Teens and Keeping the Child in Mind programmes (4 weeks, £2,815 for 15 participants) cost £187 per participant.
- A £1,000 donation would fund approximately six participants.
- With UK parents on average having 1.5 children your donation could benefit 9 children.

We use every donation efficiently to create the biggest impact.
- Educational materials such as books, workbooks, and visual aids.
- Printing and binding of custom course content.
- Rental and utility fees for workshops or group sessions.
- Honorarium for facilitators or subsidized training for volunteers/staff.
- Design and distribution of flyers, posters, and social media promotions.
- Light refreshments for attendees to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Childcare services during sessions, stationery supplies, or emergency provisions.
